My mother wouldn’t allow me to see a chiropractor!

At the age of 14 I was injured on a trampoline as I was training as a competitive springboard and platform diver. I dove up until my University years and we trained on trampolines to practice our aerial skills. It was quite a bad injury and it took me a long time to recover. My coach had recommended I see her chiropractor. My mom was apprehensive about treatment. She was unsure about what chiropractic was or how it could help me.

I was injured while wrestling and had my first visit with a local chiropractor while I was in high school in America.

This visit really opened my eyes to a world of healing without drugs and spurred on my pursuit of becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic. In 1982 I was accepted into Palmer College of Chiropractic (PCC), the first and oldest chiropractic college in the world. I was fortunate enough earn a scholarship playing rugby. Read more…»

I first experienced chiropractic when I was 15 years old.

I was competing internationally in athletics and began to feel recurring lower back pain when sprinting. After trying various types of treatment, chiropractic was recommended and my first appointment was in Greystones Chiropractic. I was lucky to have open­minded parents and coaches who supported me in trying a new approach. The treatment immediately gave me huge relief, enabled me to continue sprinting and I haven’t looked back since.
